The Write Image® was established in 1982 by Toni Footer in suburban Washington DC, and has grown to be among the most knowledgeable and well-respected arbiters of design, taste, quality and service when it comes to commercial and social stationery and invitations. She has over 29 years of experience in this industry working with corporate, non-profit, government and individual (social) clients. Toni loves getting involved in second generation family celebrations. She has printed Bar and Bat Mitzvah invitations for clients, then designed their wedding invitations, and with the arrival of their offspring enjoys creating their birth announcements.

The new online store captures Toni's experience and knowledge of proper social communication. With the establishment of The Write Image Online, people now have access to her expertise with all the 24/7 convenience of the World Wide Web. In addition, customers are able to "view" a virtual proof of their order with our "preview technology."

The Write Image carries numerous social and commercial albums representing some of the finest stationers throughout the country. Utilizing our extensive resource of vendors, we are able to offer beautiful and handmade papers imported from around the world.

The Write Image has been recognized by and has received numerous awards from many of the printing companies for outstanding service and business practices. Many magazines, including The Washingtonian have written about The Write Image and recommended Toni and her company as a vendor for the past seven years in their "They Know Weddings" articles. In September of 1999, The Washington Post published a lengthy article in its Business section featuring Toni Footer, the owner of The Write Image.
